There are certain things you need to understand before you start connecting with women. Yes, they do act differently, react differently and most of all: think differently than men in general. There is a variety and the standard woman does not exist (really, she doesn’t!) But… With some insights into the female lifestyle, you are off for a good start.
1. Act like a man
This one may seem obvious, but in the reality of a confrontation, men seem to forget about this. Being masculine means that you are a leader. That means you take the main role in the conversation. You guide her, you are in charge. Don’t let her overrule you. She reacts negatively on what you say? Two ways to handle it: 1. You take the decision of ending the conversation. 2. You take the decision to find out why she is rejecting you. If the reason of rejection is because she already has someone else, end the conversation. But if she doesn’t have a man in her life, she’ll be most likely to give you the attention you deserve after a while. Sometimes women want to give the impression of being hard to get, but they’re not. That’s why they say ‘PLAYING hard to get’. Whatever you do, don’t push it, just ask her the right questions. As if you are really interested in why she is acting that way.
2. Prepare your conversation
This is what usually happens in a non-effective flirting scene; a guy goes over to a girl and starts asking her thousands of questions. “What’s your name”, “Where are you from?”, “How old are you?”, “Where do you live?”… The problem with those questions is: they are sooooo boring! 85% of women need a man who is playful and looks innocent. So make the conversation light and funny. Try to create a positive tension. Problem is: we have learned that creating tension is a bad thing. We mistakenly believe that tension creates problems or even arguments. Let me explain to you how it works. Positive tension is created by the following things:
Better questions to ask are: Oh so you’re a lawyer? So you like getting criminals out of jail? Great job. Off course, while you say it, you wink at her, or you have a smile on your face so it doesn’t look like you mean it! What you want to happen is, that she says something back with the same twist of humor and teasing. And that is what flirting is all about!
3. Enter the digital world of flirting
Ok, so you got her phone number. So what’s next? It’s all about emotion! Do you see where I’m going? Use your emoticons! See the difference for yourself: ‘So you’re one of these girls who like spending Saturday night alone in her apartment.” Or “So, you’re one of these girls who like spending Saturday night alone in her apartment? ;-)”. That wink emoticon changes the whole sentence! It changes the whole intonation of the sentence!
